Intersection Repairs at Main & College Streets

The Town of Mooresville and Norfolk Southern Railroad will be doing railway and road work at the intersection of Main and College streets beginning Wednesday, February 10. Crews will be removing the rail spur and resurfacing the intersection. Detour signs will redirect traffic to Broad Street.

Main Street traffic will use Mills Street, Broad Street and Wilson Avenue as a detour. College Street traffic will be redirected to Church Street and Wilson Avenue. “This project will be completed within two or three days, weather permitting,” said John Finan, Public Works Manager. “If there is inclement weather, we will reschedule this project for a later date.”
