Defense Training for Seniors

The Mooresville Police Department is offering Rape Aggression Defense (RAD) training beginning in March for men and women over the age of 65. The series is free and focuses on crime reduction strategies that seniors can use in their home and community. The training focuses on crimes specific to the senior adult population.

Intersection Repairs at Main & College Streets

The Town of Mooresville and Norfolk Southern Railroad will be doing railway and road work at the intersection of Main and College streets beginning Wednesday, February 10. Crews will be removing the rail spur and resurfacing the intersection. Detour signs will redirect traffic to Broad Street.

What is Happening at I-77 & Brawley School Road?

The Town has received several inquiries regarding the construction schedule for Phase B of the Brawley School Road Improvement Project, specifically the overpass area with I-77. While a new bridge span will be constructed to accommodate the interchange with I-77, Brawley School Road will not be closed during the construction.
