The Town’s Business Office will be upgrading financial software on Friday, August 16. During the time of upgrade, online bill pay will be unavailable. Other payment options, including walk-ins and drop box payments, will still be available.
The Mooresville Town Board of Commissioners will meet on Monday, August 5 at 6 p.m. in the Executive Board Room at Town Hall, 413 North Main Street. The public is encouraged to attend.
Beginning in September, the Town will, once again, be offering the Mooresville Citizens Academy, an eight-session class offering an inside look at Town services and facilities.
This year’s Academy will begin on September 5 and conclude with a graduation ceremony at the November Town Board meeting. Classes will be led by department managers and Town officials on Thursday evenings from 6 - 9 p.m. There is no charge for this program but space is limited to 15 participants. Open to Town residents only.
Start your weekend off right by joining us on Friday, August 2 for the next free summer concert. The Stranger, a Billy Joel Tribute Band, will take the stage at 6:30 p.m. on the lawn beside Town Hall. Known as one of the “Best Live Bands in the Tribute Genre,” this band is a musical powerhouse with several decades and thousands of shows between them.
