Fire Training Center Ribbon Cutting - January 3

Please join us on Thursday, January 3 at 1 p.m. for the ribbon cutting/fire lighting ceremony for the new Mooresville Fire-Rescue Fire Training Center, located at 2593 Charlotte Highway (behind the Town's Public Services Operations Center).

Section of Cabarrus Avenue Closed – January 1- 18

The Town will be closing a section of Cabarrus Avenue, between Magnolia Street & Cedar Avenue, during the day from January 1 – 18 for planned rehabilitation work on the sanitary sewer system. Traffic will be routed to Mayflower Avenue and Hickory Drive as a detour.

Town Offices Closed - January 1

Town offices will be closed Tuesday, January 1 for the New Year's Day holiday. Monday sanitation collection remains on schedule. Tuesday, Wednesday and Thursday sanitation customers will experience a one day delay in trash & recycling collections.

Relocating Water Lines on Iredell Avenue - December 28

The Town's Public Utilities will close one lane of East Iredell Avenue (between Carpenter & Center) today between 8:30 AM and 4:00 PM to relocate water lines. Town employees will be flagging traffic through the work zone so delays should be minimal. Water outages will be limited to residents in this immediate area and should last less than an hour as services are being changed. Please drive safely through the work zone.
